Remaining Schollies....Whats left....

What about kicker Caleb Shudak? I haven't heard he's committed to the bad guys yet and he could be one of the most important recruits we get. I have to think if CMC can talk to Jeff and get them up to Ames, we'd have a shot.
 
Get Heinrich, move Mueller to DL (he'd be a tall DL), add Cochran, get WR & QB along with Big 3: Allen, Pine, Foster

i would hump a football on the 50 yard line today in JTS if that happened

Lol. No kidding. Doesn't happen over night dude and certainly doesn't happen after 3-2-3 win seasons. Go look at 2017 and 2018 offers thus far..

If we could get all 3 of those OL would take them. Guarantee it. I don't think we get Heinrich. I think we get Foster. Maybe Castillo. They want Pine bad. I think we get Jalen Martin WR and Jalen Cochran DE/LB. I think we want TE Chase Allen and if we can not get him then we go after TE Dylan Soehner. We could go after another DT. And maybe another WR like Ballard or a DB like Marquis Smith.

Probably take 8 more commits making the class a total of 25 commits.
 
Id be shocked if they didn't take a JUCO/transfer QB. There were rumblings a couple weeks ago about there being a prospect they were excited about, but nothing has come of that yet.

As for the rest, a lot of good options already out there. Foster seems like a really good shot as he will visit in January. Holding out hope for Heinrich, but it seems like he really likes Arkansas.
 
Lending was being brought in as a LB by CPR. Not sure where Campbell will put him. I think we still get Wonnum if we don't land any of the other guys we are after such as Chase Allen.

We still need a JUCO QB or we will have no depth there. I think we will land 1 WR with Jalen Martin being the top target and Ballard as number 2. We should grab 1 more OL (Foster visits in a deep weeks!) and 1 more d-lineman with Cochran being the top target. Center Trystan Castillo will visit in a few weeks as well and it would be nice to land a true center. I believe he also played guard in HS. We could grab 1 more RB as well if we have enough schollies. Moran would be a huge get.

From listening to Noland I got the feeling he thinks he will redshirt his freshman season. I don't know that for sure at all...just something about the way he was talking.

I think that Matt Campbell likes his TE's to be taller. Wonnum is about 6'3" and weighs about 217 right now. Chase Allen and Dylan Soehner are in the 6'6" range.

According to 247 Sports, Dennis Wonnum officially decommitted from Iowa State on Nov. 28. Wonnum is not being pursued. It won't happen.

****JUCO QB (need depth! Should have this in front of Allen, but I think Allen has 1st team All-Big 12 potential)

Read somewhere that the weekend of Jan. 15th could possibly be the biggest recruiting weekend in Iowa State history. Most likely going to have somewhere around 15-20+ visitors and multiple 4 stars will be on campus that weekend..

S Dedarallo Blue committed to Toledo. Good for him! I think he has a bright future and ISU is probably done recruiting DBs so I'm glad to see him land at another school that I like

Twin brothers Elijah Daniels and Elisha Daniels decommitted from Minnesota and will visit Maryland on the 22nd. Both have offers from ISU.
