Redskins = WFT = Commanders?

How long before people in the stadium are shouting "Go Commies"?
I will only refer to them as the Washington Comrades

I'm sure the popular thing will be to hate it, but honestly I don't mind it. Their colors are classic, I like the W on the helmet, and the name is fine. I don't love where it says Commanders on the front of the red uniform, I like how it says Washington on the white one better.

Their ownership still sucks though.

the Redtails logos online were super bad ass, but I can live with the Commanders. Mostly, because I have no choice. Harbaugh to Vikes?? I like it. HTTC **hail to the commanders

This.

Why in gods name do we stay fans of this pathetic excuse for a franchise? I tried to switch a couple years ago, but it just didn’t feel right. Maybe we’re masochists?

You dont leave your wife if she gains 50 pounds and you dont leave your team if they lose consistency for 30 plus years. At least thats what I tell myself. I tried too.

I’ve had enough of these fools. Might need to become a Jaguars fan.

lol, they were literally selling access to their topless cheerleaders and using them as personal escorts for wealthy investors, but "Commanders" is just a bridge too far?

I liked the idea of Warthogs or Red Hogs. Ties back to the history of the franchise and the Hogs of the '80s. The only other major sports brand using anything close to that is the Arkansas Razorbacks. It doesn't wander into the faux patriotism thing that Commanders, Generals, or Admirals do. And "Hail to the Hogs" is a much better cheer.

Great question. I was sick of Dan Snyder and his nonsense long before that, but both that and the abomination that was the "celebration" of Sean Taylor really made me sick.
