Does the entertainment district have any wrestling plans in it? I thought Pollard’s is all entertainment, commercial & residential

The CyTown stuff doesn't have anything specific for wrestling. However there are plans to add dedicated wrestling facilities (and track too) onto the Lied Rec Center. I think on the southeast corner but Pollard didn't give many details.

What all would be involved with these wrestling and track facilities? Is it just more practice space for wrestling?

Thanks for the wrestling information. I wasn’t connecting why the CyTown was big secretive wrestling news.

I like knowing something is happening and willing to wait to find out what it is . Appreciate those in the know and understand the need to keep things quiet until the right time.

There has been some interesting info for example Gaitan commitment that has come out. Hope it's something equally exciting.
 
The wrestling news did not get announced. What happen, I don't know. Neither does Tigerguy and he isn't in control of releasing the news. That is probably why nobody mentioned what the actual news was. Hope it is still on and just delayed!

You could say that Kevin is officially turning the armory into a wrestling-only facility. No reason to keep secrets.

Isn't there a thread from the last couple weeks about a campus master plan that did not show the Armory at all?

And post 682 above mentions something attached to Lied.
