RECRUITING: Recapping Hallice Cooke's ISU visit

In other words...none of us know anything or can assume anything as to what a recruit will do based on comments.
 
I think people need to read CW's interview with Cooke after his visit. The kid is taking a very mature approach to picking a school.

“Once I feel that the time is right I will make a decision. This will give me something to compare,” Cooke said. “That’s something that I didn’t do out of high school. I made a quick decision. I want to see a little bit of everything and then make a decision.”

Honestly, this is more or less the same thing all of the recruits say.

Cooke said he rushed his decision from High school so it's understandable that he wants to take additional visits that he didn't get to out of HS

No, Anderson is different. He is from the east coast. He is in evaluation mode.
The left coast people are unstable and fickle. :pwink:

I just returned from Quebec and Montreal yesterday. Lots of road congestion in Montreal. Quebec was more laid back for tourists. Two weeks behind us in their tree budding out.

I think they were talking about McKay.

And once McKay left Marquette did he actually take more visits or did he just know he wanted to be a Cyclone based off of the time he had spent around the program while at IHCC? Or from talking with Dustin?

Are you talking about McKay? If so, completely different. McKay was at Indian Hills and was recruited by Iowa State, he had a juco teammate here, and he had probably been to games.

I think McKay may have even committed to Iowa State before coming here anyway.

Per Jeff Goodman

Oregon State's Hallice Cooke, who announced he will transfer a couple weeks ago, told ESPN he would reconsider if Grace were hired.
