This is all your fault, or so my sources tell me.
So if he signed, didn't tell anybody/Prohm & Co., then it was basically baiting us into violating NCAA regulations by continuing to have any sort of contact with him, based on the fact that he attended one of our games and we sent staff to watch him play in Florida?
On the bright side, we have Lard, Young and Kasongo. Not a bad group -- IMO better than what we're working with this year. I imagine we'll go grad transfer or JUCO route to get a more action-ready option than Stokes too.
If Iowa State wasn't notified that he had signed an LOI then the "violation" isn't enforceable. Then again it's the NCAA, so crap, we are in trouble!
I hope it's all just a big mix up, but if not, a grad transfer or JUCO could certainly fill that role for us.
Half kidding, but I question your wording in the above....do we for sure "have" Lard? Heck, who knows what to think anymore. Guess we'll believe it when we see him on the floor.

Seeing him registered for classes on StalkerNet and with the team on the bench come 2017 would be a huge step in the right direction on that one.
Still has to stay academically eligible and his nose out of trouble once at ISU, however.
I thought the whole reason to sign and place was so you could announce it.
Just spitballing here, but I'm wondering if he signed it the last day, but didn't want Florida to submit it. Whole thing is strange.
Hopefully not to cave this or anything, but my dumbass brother-in-law, who informs all of humanity of his workout and running schedule on social media, thought the buttercup thing was the greatest thing ever. He conveniently doesn't live in Iowa. He talked a whole lot of political smack on social media as well, then came back on like a big old crybaby about people calling him names because of his political choices. No doubt he is not self aware enough to see the irony.
