RECRUITING: Hoops notes from April 8

Juiston and Brown both likely on campus for an official visit next weekend? Wow we've had some huge recruiting weekends here but that'll rank right up there at the top.

So high on Morrow really hope we find a way to get him in the cardinal and gold.

No big deal, but was noticing the difference between those body types.
Good sized guards.

Can't wait for some leaks on how the scrimmages go. With as few guys as we have returning I'm guessing this year's seniors would be involved? Anyone know how these matters go? I guess it really makes the opportunity for them explicit. On that note, it would be great to have Juiston in with a guys like Brown/Alstork.

Yeah, I'm already banking on Young being a good Big 12 forward. It wasn't a post of concern, but of optimism. The staff doesn't back of jucos with P5 offers in early March unless they don't see it as a big need.

We like to play small, and that works when you have a Burton, but do we really want to go extended minutes of Babb or Lewis in that role?.

I think in a perfect situation Prohm may want to sign a second stretch 4 w/ Juiston, but w/ an all in strategy I think he feels we can live w/ paying small 5-10 minutes/ game.

Shayok
Morrow
Juiston
Brown
Alstork
Edwards

The two on that list that would really helps us the most for next year are Juiston and Shayok. They are the best athletes with the best size/length. Alstork, I looked at Wright States schedule and the only P5 school they played was Penn State and he was 3/18 from the field, not sure how his game can translate to Big 12 type of schedule.

Marial Shayok is sit one, play one. He can't help next year

Spring recruiting has entered an exiting phase with known targets of:

Shayok
Morrow
Juiston
Brown
Alstork
Edwards

Even 2-3 of those guys would be an amazing class when combined with our November signees.

Hopefully there are a 'couple' more targets than on that list. Because they are mostly guards, and Morrow is a sit-out, so if we don't get Juiston I hope there is somebody else out there to play the 4 position.
