Recruit Lists v2.0

I doubt Thon Maker ever plays college ball. He has eligibility red flags all over the place.
Foreign prospects can definitely be risky. I just saw something the other day that said Cheick Diallo is having some eligibility issues at KU.

Reports that Diallo may not be eligible next fall. I don't know details or how reliable the rumors are.

KU sounds very confident that he'll be eligible but of course they're used to the NCAA giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I would find it humorous if Diallo didnt qualify. After all that recruiting. Usually he would have commited to Iowa state. Then not qualified

A poster on another board said he was hearing Diallo wouldn't qualify back when he committed. I just kind of shrugged it off.

Well, it's 50/50.

Now, what about this Thon Maker business? Prefer to talk about folks we are recruiting, as opposed to those who have chosen to commit elsewhere.

Depends on when regarding the 99 percent. Like how many posters aside from jsb were saying fred was leaving in April? Can't really think of any tbh. So yeah, at least early on, seems right.

Back on topic: I like throwing the bone to thon maker. Don't think it'll go anywhere, but like it. And really hope diallo is ineligible.

99% seems high

Love the schadenfreude, but let's remember KU is the school that somehow got Lester Earl eligible.

He got payed at LSU and transferred to Kansas, seems like everything is up and up to me.

Not exactly clear when, but Brandon Rush commits to Kansas basketball program. Rush narrowed his college choices to Illinois and Oklahoma, when Missouri would no longer offer a scholarship and their AD blocked allowing him to walk on due to too many potential off the court issues. Then he couldn't qualify at Illinois. Then he couldn't qualify at Oklahoma. Rush decided he would have to enter the draft straight from high school as he couldn't qualify at a D1 university, except it looked as though he wouldn't be a first round selection, something his brother had already had happen to him. His older brothers talked him out of it. Two weeks after school started he got into KU and began taking classes, and even though he at times carried a 0.0 GPA in high school at Westport managed to get a 3.6 at KU while missing the first two weeks of classes. This strangely coincided with the same time frame which their compliance department was noted to be severely understaffed and inadequate by the NCAA and academic fraud was occurring.

This is from that great post on a Mizzou board.

Tyson Carter has been offered by ISU, sounds like he is starting to blow up.

When asked about recruiting, Carter reeled off a litany of interested parties big and small: Mississippi State, Murray State, Memphis, Iowa State, Ole Miss, Louisiana Tech, South Alabama, Murray State, Miami, Florida Gulf Coast, Vanderbilt, UNLV, N.C. State and others.

Mississippi State, Memphis, Miami, Iowa State, Florida Gulf Coast, South Alabama and Louisiana Tech have offered. UNLV joined them on Friday.

Kobe king is killing it at ny2la in milwaukee. Rated as one of the top performers. If you to the ny2la webite he is listed on day 3 recap part 2. Says he is fantastic in the high post. Sounds like a good Niang replacent. More athletic than Niang with less moves.
