I think we are still sitting pretty well with Tyler Cook (PF) out of St. Louis as well. If we could get Horne and then one of the Cook's that would go a long way towards bolstering our front court.

Greek Freak would be great too. He's more of a 3 or stretch 4 which would be helpful.

Hines tweeted he thought Cook and Bridges were off the board with the departure of Mann
 
Suprised TJ is not going to Wisconsin. There are some good AAU teams playing there this weekend with a couple targets we have offered.

I feel like we have a good shot at Xavier Simpson as well
 
It hurts me to know how much Coffey liked us and now doesn't at all. He was basically a lock to here. *sigh*

Ya, I think the latest Tyler Cook update we were still in his final 6 along with Iowa, Arkansas, Florida, Mizzou, and Virginia

Tyler Cook of St. Louis was a Mann recruit after Abdelmassih left and that is who Hines was referring to.

Asked about Bridges when Mann was no longer retained:

Cyclones1994. Coffey was damn near a lock. Bridges is from Michigan. I think that is who you are talking about. Coffey is Minnesota

Hines also tweeted that Morris might go pro next year based on Mann not being retained which is just dumb, so not everything he tweets is gospel.

I didn't say I 100% agreed with him. Tyler Cook would be on his 3rd lead recruiter so our chances might not be great great but I'm guessing we'll still continue to recruit him

Not debating anything about Hines here as he does good work, but yeah, the Morris to the NBA talk was so already out there (and I don't just mean 'speculation') way before Mann was let go. Wouldn't equate the two at all. Only way I think Monte stays a fourth year is because the NBA scouts convince him he may not be drafted. Nothing to do with Mann. Would think if he has the kind of year we hope he has, then he'll be drafted somewhere, even if its the second round.

Oh I agree, he may go, but it won't have anything to do with Mann. I'm not bashing Hines either. He's as good as it gets in Cyclone media. People that write and tweet all the time are bound to have a couple of regrettable ones.
