Recruit Lists v2.0

I have to be honest. The picture of Benjamin could either be a recruiting picture for Rivals or a mug shot. Very hard to tell.

Things are really heating up with Benjamin. It sounds like the cosches are very high on him.

2 vs. 3 is somewhat semantics, but I agree, from the little bit of highlight I saw looked more like a 3/swingman to me. One that would be great in Hilton.

In our offense it doesn't really matter but I was shocked to see him thought of as a 2 at 6'7" and 29%. That is similar to Clyburn and he was far from your traditional 2.

Maybe his coach was just trying to talk him up some, knowing that it is his athleticism and motor that are most readily apparent.

Right, traditionally the "2" is thought of as the "shooting" guard, it's not like that anymore. It's more of a reference to court positioning and offensive schematicas rather than the role of the player.

Looking like several Harrison Barnes occurring at one time in Minny.

I should feel bad for the Minnesota fans. Heaven knows I understand what it feels like to lose out on a hometown kid. I personally had one of my bigger meltdowns after that Barnes press conference. But because I am apparently a bad person, I am enjoying the Minnesota stuff. Mainly because they acted like we weren't going to get Matt Thomas and they continue to act like we don't have a shot at Vaughn.

And so it begins...
@RyanJamesMN: 4 star Wing Josh Cunningham said he just arrived for his visit at Creighton.

After what Chris wrote today, I feel like we REALLY need to land Cunningham. Like maybe we need a 100 page Cunningham thread.

They are really butt hurt that Whitehead's coach was offered the Ast coach postion at Seton Hall. Pretty funny stuff.

Its funny because they did the exact same thing when they were recruiting Kris Humphries. They hired his HS coach and than he switched his commitment from Duke to Minnesota.
