You're right, for some reason I thought he had went to Duke for a year. I didn't remember that about his coach.

I am just going to assume he is awesome despite the stars and offers. ISU basketball recruiting has come to that it seems.
Getting in early has rewarded us in the past, and it is definitely true in this case. Here's hoping he explodes his way to ISU
wouldn't laugh too much. If Vaughn doesn't come to ISU with the way people are acting on this site it will be a huge meltdown

Yeah maybe. The avatar thing is really just in jest though. I am not expecting him to come here, but am more confident than not at this point. Recruiting can change day to day so no guarantees. I think our current players need to be competitive to have a chance. He may want to be the star, but not be star amongst scrubs. I think they will be competitive despite being young.
Well duh. That's what everyone does on this site when expectations aren't met, no matter how realistic/unrealistic they are.
Keep building those relationships...

I have a feeling that if we miss on Vaughn our fallback blue-chip transfer will soften the blow.

Sorry, I found a comment in the "Other 2014 Targets" thread that says Dewayne Benjamin is visiting the Texas game.
That is okay. Just look at it as their own fault for not feeding the mega-thread in this instance.
I would take Benjamin and Cunningham. Getting Benjamin would be some nice insurance if we don't land Vaughn.
