Recruit Lists v2.0

Just curious, but does anyone know 'why' Diallo is waiting to be cleared, yet Yakwe went to the same high school and is able to reclassify and even go 1 year earlier to St.Johns? Did Diallo get a later start with credits there?

Nobody on here is going to know.

Interesting is it just me or does it seem like the NCAA has more strict rules than before? This being overall rules for college athletes. I think diallo will be cleared bc he is at KU but never know. Im just going to say this glad neither committed to ISU bc the NCAA has it out for cyclone athletics. Thus no question they would make them ineligible and probably fine us big time

Enough with the "We are ISU and the NCAA has it out for us whining"...you guys make us all look like a bunch of jackasses with that constant crap... KU got hit with the Alexander issue and have had many guys ruled ineligible over the years.

The positive is Gill-Caesar was at Oregon the 14-16th and still has not committed, so maybe he wants a visit now that we officially have a scholarship available.

Weird how quiet his recruitment has been. He seems like a good target for anyone with an open spot right now.

It seems to be a bit of the old "The NCAA is so mad at Ohio State that they decided to put Cleveland State on probation for 2 more years" thing.

This time it's more of a "The NCAA is so mad at North Carolina that they're going to take it out on everybody else" thing.

Agreed for a player with his talent though, he didn't announce his transfer from Mizzou until late 7/15 right during the live period for HS recruiting which has been dominating most recruiting experts reporting. It took him a couple weeks sort through offer and it appears he wants to find the right situation for him before releasing his list (ISU, Oregon, SDSU, and Baylor). Hopefully, CF will hear of a visit to ISU planned soon with the team returning from Spain today.
On a personal note his nickname is "Teki". :v_SPIN:

According to Rothstein, Gill-Caesar will visit San Diego State this weekend. My assumption would be that SDSU or Oregon will get him at this point. He won't really have time for other visits before classes start, will he?

Bone has three visits set.

"The 6-foot-1 point guard recently released a top six: VCU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, UCF, Iowa State, and Wichita State. Now, he is looking to make some visits.

Bone is scheduled to visit VCU this weekend. September 12th he will make the short trip to Knoxville for a visit to Tennessee, followed by a visit to Ole Miss September 26th.

Many believe Tennessee is in the driver’s seat, but VCU has come on strong as of late. The Rams will get the first visit, so things could get interesting."

@hoopseen: Jordan Bone - one of the top PGs in the South - is ready to make some visits http://t.co/Ds4vYEhHxD http://t.co/saKGTzAvQL

Thinking its time for us to be hearing about reeling in more visits than the ones we've had, plus Solomon. Hopefully soon.
Hope Curry sets up a visit with Iowa St, bc it looks like he is really interested. Now Bone I am not sure, I would assume he will be committing to the Rams or Tennessee

@AlexHalsted: 2016 PF @JeriahHorne1 tells me he has scheduled official visits to Kansas State (Sept. 5) Iowa State (Sept. 12) and Nebraska (Sept. 25).

@AlexHalsted: Horne's visit to Iowa State will be for the Iowa vs. Iowa State football game. He's a versatile forward out of Kansas City.

I have to say that would be the football game for recruits to come see! Hope we can get more like one of the cooks to come that weekend. As well as maybe Kostas too. But now I feel ISU will be looking for 1 or 2 transfers bc of the Greek leaving and NN issue.

Haven't seen a lot on Tyson and ISU connection but, Prohm recruited him at MSU and offered him at ISU. Not really sure if ISU is still in on him with 2 last officials unknown.

"Before the summer months began, the only official visit that Carter had in hand was from Murray State, which was obsolete as the program’s head coach, Steve Prohm, had left and gone to Iowa State.
Now with offers in hand from such highly successful programs like Ohio State, Baylor, Illinois, Indiana, UNLV, Iowa State, and Miami, Carter is more than enthused with how his breakout few weeks occurred. “I think it went way better than I expected. I knew I wanted to do really well in July but I didn’t think I would do that good.â€￾

@coreyevans_10: Tyson Carter has set three visits to an SEC, ACC, and Pac 12 program http://t.co/b6IKq45eKV http://t.co/ZawqBN95ZR

@AlexHalsted: 2016 Oklahoma SG Jakolby Long has an official visit to Iowa State planned for Oct. 3, I'm told. Planned in-home visit w/ Georgia on Sept. 8.
