Recruit Lists v2.0

I think he is trying to troll us having good fun. I enjoy your posts and see you have as much passion in recruiting as I do. Been following on here since 07 and probably more than half of my posts have been in recruiting threads

Problem is he looks like the idiot here. Not hard to figure his allegiance.

Yeah I haven't been here long but it's definitely pretty easy to tell who brings real news like you and who the trolls/idiots are like him. Oh well.

Speaking of trolls, who was the poster that emphatically claimed we'd still be on Bridges list when he cut it to 5 a few days ago? Wrong.

This sounded like a six year old posted this.

I think the primary reason we thought we were still great with Bridges was the Flint effect. Who remembers Dillon Brooks? He was literally brothers with Naz and his brother and if it wasn't for the reclassification to go to Oregon, I think he would be here. Not only is it about having a relationship with coaches, but also players.

Not sure you want to start calling people out for emphatic statements. 99% of the consistent posters on here emphatically swore Fred would never leave this year due to the team he had returning

Who is we? Anyone who follows recruiting knew with Fred and Mann gone we weren't going to be on his list.

Again, another misread, "still" meaning post fred and mann departure. "Still" meaning if there was a chance. Did I think there was an excellent chance at getting Bridges? Not a chance, but for the small percentage of him wanting to come here, it would have been because of the Flint connection. And don't give me the "anyone who follows recruiting" if you are on cyclone fanatic as much as any of us are, you better be up to date every day.

I didn't think they were actual brothers.

You said the reason "we thought we were still great with Bridges was because of the Flint connection". Once Mann was gone there was no chance, Hines said as much. I don't remember people holding out hope because of his connection with Monte

******, people are looking way too much into what I'm saying. IF THERE WAS ANY CHANCE, ANY CHANCE MEANING .0001%, it would be from him and Monte having a connection

Not to be a **** but there's a difference between saying a .00001% chance and "we thought we were still great with Bridges because of the Monte connection"

Yes, in regards to what the gentleman said earlier, I believe that's why people still thought we would be in his top 5, even though there was a very very low chance of it. Does that make sense now?

Good point, but I'd say 99% is a stretch. Plenty of insiders knew about the NBA interest more than a year ago and that the Bulls would be too hard for him to pass up due to his connections.

Janny was just pointing out the use of "literally". He and Ted Mosby are brothers...figuratively.

What happened to that recruit for 2016 that suppos3dly wanted to come to iowa state. I think he had some problems and transfered around to a few high schools in eastern iowa and then went to a prep school down in kansas.
