I have been watching some his highlights from high school. Looks to be a nice shot blocker, athletic kid who seems to be able to put it on the floor at 6'10". I would assume his game as gotten better as he has matured. Anyone hearing how he looks in practice etc?

Ugh. Not sure which is less appealing. No skill or delusional whack job handlers.

Can we just get a big -- 6'9" or above -- who can catch a pass, hold on to a rebound, finish layups, and kick it back out to an open guard? Is that asking too much?

How about really defend a big, screen, and rim run?

Sounds a little like a bigger McKay. I'd be okay with that. Holden doesn't seem to have much instinct as far as being any sort of force inside like McKay had at times.

Kasongo and McKay are not even comparable... Yikes, don't set that expectation. Kasongo is maybe a poor, poor mans Edozie without the hustle. Set your bar there and hope he outperforms Carter.

Unfortunately guys like that (i.e. Royce) only come around every few years for ISU.

Could maybe, maybe have been Malou but who knows.

I just want a guy that isn't gonna take **** and get pushed around. Our team needs to get a tougher edge like Kane, Hogue, Homan.

interesting comment from a Tennessee fan back when he committed to ISU. Also the comment about the 7 schools in 6 years plays into my earlier post that he's a bit of a head case.

Aren't you the one who kept saying Prohm couldn't recruit? Lets hope you're wrong about this too.

I don't mean to call you out, but my goodness, the constant negativity from some of you regarding this guy is ridiculous. Give him a chance to prove himself here before dismissing him.

None of those comparisons make sense. The obvious bar should be Holden. Let's hope Kasonga is better.

Yea, I'm still skeptical on Prohms staffs recruiting. Wiggington is obviously a great get but we will need more than 1 top 100 kid every 3 years.

Hope Kasongo proves everyone wrong but the next positive thing I hear will be the first outside of some unexplicable McKay comparison.

You don't like Lewis too? Damn you're negative
