2 hour late start for school here.

Here, too. Although we did not get as much snow as you did up north. Roads are slick, lots of accidents in DSM.

Sitting at PT for daughter so we had to get going anyhow. Plows have made first pass so drivable. Left early so I could drive 40.

A new woman started working here. Looks right out of college and definitely has a case of RBF it appears.

It's funny.....I came to CF for the MBB threads, and eventually got drawn into the Cave. I still go occasionally, but as others have testified, it can be a losing battle. I do enjoy the wit of my fellow RTTers, though. And RTT is worth the price of admission to CF alone.

Easiest way to find it is to take everything out, pull out a couple shelves, and then climb inside and have someone close it for you.

I don't understand arguing politics. People believe what they want whether liberal, conservative, in between or extreme and no amount of arguing is going to change them. I don't understand all the name calling when someone doesn't agree with you.

I guess today is a National Unicorn Day. Very popular with the 10 and under crowd, I have made 4 of these so far this year. You do not want to know how much butter and sugar is involved in this . . .

Only one for my child, the other three were for paying customers. Although we do have 2 birthdays next month. Thankfully the 15yr old has moved onto more sophisticated desserts like cheesecake.

So there are now narwhal socks at work.

I WOULD purchase them but 1) they're no-show cut, so who would see them but me, and 2) they're women's regular size, which means I would stretch them out/wear them out quicker than normal.

I should have said powdered sugar. The cake has 2c of sugar. Inside the cake is chocolate frosting (2 sticks of butter, 4.5c powdered sugar). The rest of the cake used the majority of 2 more batches of buttercream which is 6 sticks of butter and 14c of powdered sugar. So right on with the butter.

I also made unicorn cookies for the same customer. That involved more sugar, powdered sugar, and butter.
