Played bells today at church, then went over to friends' house with lots of other friends. This was my contribution:

Perhaps I misunderstood. You were (or were not) advocating that folks eat peeps simultaneously with deviled eggs?

As to being all alone. I call ******** on the size of your sample. :)
Eating eggs & peeps at the same time....?
Ermmmm, NO.

On the same plate? Yup. :)

The original Willy Wonka movie, 1971, really holds up well. The first hour is still pretty darn engaging...and besides the rare old car in the background...it does not look or feel like a period piece. It could have been produced last year.

And some outdated clothes...it does hold up.

I'm agreeing with dirtyninety on something semi-serious. I'm going to blame the massive headache I have. o_O

My goodness attendance at church was low today, older congregation pretty sure most of them went to visit grandkids.
Had a nice family gathering to day. Nobody should have went home hungry. On electronic devices BIL was hooked on to his phone pretty tight till the Cubs game was over.

Cubs Lose. Sitting around waiting to hit homers not presently working.....but it will.

Performed the liturgy again at church yesterday morning (we lost one pastor a month ago, the other is retiring at the end of June) and then went for brunch with the in-laws. The vixen invited everyone over to our house afterward. This was about noon or so. They sat around until almost 9PM and drank every bit of beer in the fridge in the basement (it is there strictly for that purpose). So now I have to re-stock.

Meeting some friends at Omni later today to watch the final four. How busy is it going to be? Trying to work out the timing.
Sorry. I didn't get back to you. We were visiting the insanely expensive college. How'd you like Omni? I don't imagine the patio was open on Saturday so it was probably a bit packed.

So Sara is the one that drank all the scotch for Pants' birthday.

On that note, I'm leaving for a work conference in New Orleans in about 2 hours.

We enjoyed ourselves. Definitely have to check it out when the patio is open. Nearly froze to death waiting for tacos from the taco truck but it was worth it!

Work conference and New Orleans, not sure those are two things that go together. Semi related BIL had a conference the week of Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Nice job government of picking the most expensive week of the yr to send your employees to N.O. We gave him a fair amount of crap about that junket.
