Was really hoping Texas Tech could hold on and beat Villanova. They just missed too many shots. But it would have been fun to have two Big XII teams in the Final Four. I will always remember 1988, when Danny Manning beat the powerhouse Oklahoma team to win it all. (And the fighting surlys, led by All-American Mitch Richmond, lost to K-Boo in the regional final.)

Anyone watch the show "Longmire?" Buddy of mine recommended and I watched a few of the first season on Netflix. Pretty good.

I watched it some before it left whatever network it was on and went to Netflix. Kinda stopped watching because the sheriff was such a total ****, and to me anyway, a completely unsympathetic character. Kinda wanted Lou Diamond Phillips or Katee Sackhoff to just punch him in the face.

Apparently as I get older my cat allergies are getting way worse. Got invited over to friends for an impromptu adult gathering Friday night, some drinks, some pool, some appetizers and chitchat. Was there less than 10 minutes and my eyes erupted and became red inflamed itch centers. "Oh, I forgot, you guys got a cat last year." They did find some kids liquid Benadryl which we we tried to decipher an adult dose from, it helped but think I took too much which kinda kiboshed any drinking for the evening. I don't see dating any cat ladies in my future.

So I am researching our education reimbursement program and found out that if I can get it approved then it would cover an instrument rating as well....which sounds like a lot more fun than an MBA.

I've watched it all the way through. I think it is a decent but not great series, especially given some stuff that occurs in later seasons with the way that Walt acts. I guess it was good enough to hold my interest.

I might try Ranier beer some time just to see what Walt drinks. I have a friend who likes to read the books--he thinks they are far superior to the show.

I really like Lou Diamond and Katee in their roles, though I suppose Katee's character is essentially Starbuck (if you watched her in Battlestar Galactica) plopped down out west as a Deputy.

That eliminates an awful lot of the CWW population. You may need to look at SWW.

My dad has been reading the books while watching. I have stuck to my policy of why ruin a good show or movie with a book.
