It was kind of weird last night because Murphy kept trying to walk it back, and he just kept on doubling down. Oh well...not much point in listening any more for now because it's all going to be about pro sports & Hawkeye baseball until fall.
Murphy knows what he is like. Just feels like he's flipping the bird at us when he ends Sears to Ames to cover our games.
Man...FB hit me in the face this morning with a four-year-old memory of my beautiful Smudgy. Long-haired black cat, 17 lbs of cuddle. The pictures are right after a nearly week long stay in the Vet school. We thought he was better, changed some things for him, and a month later he was gone. Seeing those pics brought tears to my eyes...
that weird.
BTW, I generally like North Memorial. Had major surgery there decades ago and thought the staff was pretty great. When my dad had a stroke while visiting me up here in GV we took him over to NM to. Samesies for when my vision went crazy a couple years ago. It's just a hop up Teddy Wirth Parkway from my house.
Good place if you ever get shot. You won't be the first gun shot wound they have seen.

Glad I fell asleep and missed the beginning of sound off Sears would have just pissed me off and I would have went to bed grumpy. This way I just woke caught the last minute and went to bed.

Happy Monday. I love getting a snippy emails from people. I asked if something was final because this person had been testing a system last week and the files it was producing were test files (that would look usable to me if I were to open them). They had been told to tell me when it was complete and I could use the results. I never got an email, so I asked this morning. I get a snippy "this was done last week!" Well gee, thanks. You were supposed to tell me and you never did so excuse me for not being able to read your damn mind.
Some ads are so damn annoying. If I hear another Subway Italian Hero sandwich commercial featuring spicy capicola, I'm going to scream. When I hear someone say capicola it makes me want to punch them in the face.
I feel ya.
Mine was a longwinded email helping a faculty member figure out the cheapest way to do something. The cheapest way involves an extra step for him. So this morning I have another email from him: I want that price, but without the extra step.
Ummmm...no. The cheaper price is BECAUSE of the extra step on his end.
I'm happy, no emails, surgeries, hospitalizations, or exposure to John Sears.
I trusted my little kids counting eggs (they each had to find 15), so imagine my surprise when I adjusted a blanket on the couch tonight and Cadbury mini eggs flew all over after an egg hit the tile. Guess we missed one.
I hope you picked them up. I hear they attract pants.

Lol, I couldn't make this up if I tried. My second to last text that I sent was: "That's awesome, you two are really tearing it up! (thumbs up emoji)"

Just headed to WalMart a lot earlier then I meant to. Picked up some on sale Easter candy. I was looking for Starburst jelly beans (not the ones I wanted), and Reeses pieces. (Nada) Ended up with Ghiradelli caramel (carmel?) bunnies and a movie theater box of Starburst. (Compromise) Then there was the lady that had her cart 2/3 full of Easter knickknacks and trinkets. I felt sorry for whoever had to scan all those things for her at checkout.
