I can't catch a break. I have a foot issue that gets better then I have a knee issue. Finally the knee is getting better, then today around noon I'm just sitting in my chair and my back spasms. If i'm not literally flat on my back or stomach I can move and at times its hard to catch my breath. I need to be put down at this point.

Ibuprofen Rulzzz. Ibuprofen helps everything, might not cure anything but it masks pain well.

Egg hunt. Great nephew tried to eat foil and give chocolate to the dog. Abandoned hunt to play with Rubik's cube. Mixed signals for an 18 month old.

nieces did the egg hunt before we came down today so we were taking turns with the oldest hiding empty eggs and letting them find them. Middle niece found two real eggs that had been missed in the morning. Proceeded to proudly eat the candy out of them.

also, I taught her how to climb up the ladder for the bunk beds. Hope her parents don't link that back to me :D

Work weekend this weekend it went well, got done early enough to almost make it home for family meal. Everyone was already eating but, basically got there not too late. It was good to see all the nieces and nephew.

Friday afternoon I went to the doctor to have my infected thumb checked out. Got sent to the hospital and sent to another hospital for emergency surgery at about 10:30. Did get to sit in the emergency room Friday night freak show at the hospital in a suburb near the bad neighborhood in Mpls. Only a short wait there though. Wondering what happened to the guy without a shirt with tp coming out his ears. Anyway, I get out tomorrow after a weekend being pumped full of antibiotics. The staff at North Memorial is awesome but this is weird because it's only my thumb and hand that hurt.

Glad you are on the mend. Next time go to hennipen county. Will keep things interesting. Dude with no shirt probably didn't want to talk, can't hear you with TP in the ears.

How did you hurt it again?

Is this the point where I say "you dumbass, why didn't you go to the doctor sooner?"?

Just read an article in the newspaper about a souix city guy who wanted two guys to drug his wife and get busy with her.

If you find your spouse so unattractive that you must get someone else to drug her to do it, a divorce is probably best.

I trusted my little kids counting eggs (they each had to find 15), so imagine my surprise when I adjusted a blanket on the couch tonight and Cadbury mini eggs flew all over after an egg hit the tile. Guess we missed one. ;)

Easter is usually at my house. I generally get a few treats the first time I mow the lawn.

So it's been about 54 hours since I've had my wisdom teeth surgery. My mouth is in much better shape than it was, but there is still swelling. The pain killers have more than helped, I haven't had much pain where they removed the teeth.

I have noticed that the numbness in the front/bottom part of my tongue has not went away at all. I looked it up and it seems to be caused by nerve damage in tooth extraction surgery, especially when it's not a simple extraction. It looks like most people get better with time (a few weeks to a few months). But it's very annoying and I hope it goes away soon!
I lost feeling in my lower lip and chin after having my wisdom teeth removed. It takes a while for those nerves to start completely working again.

Just got back from Easter dinner (lots of wine and pie) and just took a glance at da RTT. How did you **** up your thumb in the first place?

So do I need to worry about those chunks of flesh the dermatologist's minion took out of me on Friday?

So, my takeaway from five minutes of Sears pontificating on the Cy-Hawk game on Sound Off is that if ISU is not going to roll over & die for his mighty Hawkeyes (the series is a tie in the "Ferentz era"), then they should try to win more games because that will make Iowa's SOS better.

I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I'm when I'm rooting for the Cyclones to win their conference games, it's DEFINITELY because I want the Hawkeyes to have a better SOS.
