Location, pay, bennies, long-term goals, advancement potential...lots of things to compare. But one thing a lot of people have discovered: if you don't like the job or the people you work with, better compensation may not be worth it.![]()
Yeah, I'll get a better picture after I learn about the official offer. And I know I like working at my current employer, plus the compensation there will be on par. I just don't want to be stuck turning down a current offer because the process at my current employer is taking longer, and then not end up getting the offer (even though others I work with think I'll get it).
