trying on shirts for a company thing - another girl about my size was as well. Amazingly, they actually got women's business shirts this year so they are fitted, hallelujah. Seems like a lot of times it's a men's small that we get to work with. Yeah no.
We looked at the small and are like wow, that looks really small. The medium was like three times as big. Tried them on and the medium - no joke - hung down to my knees. I had the cuffs buttoned and could slide my hands right out. The small was barely long enough for me to tuck in, and I'm pretty sure if I breathe, it'll untuck. Whatever, I'll have a vest on overtop.
The fit was good, but it was a solid 4-6 inches shorter! That's a ridiculous difference for one size. I'm half-convinced it was a men's medium but couldn't find anything on the tag.

It's bad enough that you tall guys hog all of the cool tall gals but now you want the short gals to!

Just dumped about 2 cases of mead. It actually looked like it held up well, only a couple of bottles that weren't sealed well that smelled like they had soured, but I just never was a fan of it...hence why pretty much the whole batch was left.
As a tall guy myself, I am more interested in shorter girls. I couldn't say why exactly.
Pervs ordering the shirts were like "let's give 'em the choice...either drown in them, or give us a little show"
well so would the other girl too, then
I'm becoming more and more certain that it was a men's medium, problem was the other mediums in the women's grouping were just as big. So maybe no actual mediums were ordered for women. Or the maker assumes that if you wear a size small you are also very short and if you are medium, you are very tall.well so would the other girl too, then
It took the idiots ordering apparel at work years to figure out the half of our employees where women and they didn't wear XL unisize stuff. Hell, at 5-9 and 150 something I couldn't even find clothing to fit.
They still do order our bright safety vests in only uber super large. The rational (I guess) is they need to fit over a winter coat but they are like tents on smaller folks. Some of our young gal engineers just swim in these dumb things.
I tried mocking them with comic book characters that I thought would resonate with nerds.

Mock my beer here if you must but I still had to bike home so was opted for water and nothingburger beer rather than ale.
Hey pants, I'm currently converting some liquid CO2 to gaseous. Need to have my CO2 tank pressure tested, and since I'm off pop and haven't brewed recently, thought I should get it done in case I want to brew once I get on first shift. It was full, so I'm emptying it. More science...the tank is getting very cold, due to the heat of evaporation.
this seems to happen a lot here too. Plenty of the large sizes left, no realizing that we need some smaller sizes (and preferably women's sizes). A small men's button up or vest does not fit the same way on a woman. The waist, shoulders, and arms just swim, while it's too tight in the chest.
More science....the tank got cold enough that the surface was below the point where the air could hold the amount of water vapor that was in the air, so it got wet as water condensed out of the air and onto the surface of the tank. After the tank was empty, it warmed up due to radiated energy from the sun and evaporated again.
