Random Thoughts V

So I am sitting in a cubicle at a client. I was asked to fly down this week because of a project. Yesterday the guy I am supposed to be working with finally set up the security I need on one test system 5 weeks after I requested it.
He hasn't shown up yet today so I have no idea if he did those security changes to the production systems for next weeks testing and I fly out tomorrow morning.
I told everyone when this project started that he was a single point of failure because he has maintained far too much control and claims he is so busy.
If he doesn't show after lunch I might as well leave. No reason to sit around. As long as he put those security rules in I can move forward next week on the cloned systems so I don't have to worry about screwing up production. I just hate having a client make me look bad because he is delaying my work.

he's trying to say that by me saying personal exemptions to vaccines are BS that I'm wanting kids who are allergic or sick to get vaccinated. I'm like reading is hard?
 
woo, did you ever link your fb to me? I was trying to find it to friend you but then I couldn't remember if that actually happened. I'm not like, demanding we be fb friends but I have this nagging feeling that I left that link unacknowledged somewhere. Couldn't find it in PM's though.

man, can you start sending him emails that his boss and your boss/project people get copied on? Like hey dude, I'm at your desk waiting to do work, are you coming in today? Or hey did those changes I requested 5 weeks ago get completed?

I'd be a pissypants sitting there right now.

Damn, look at this girl demanding William be Facebook friends with her.

It's a give and take, man. She doesn't post often on there, but when she does, it's bat **** crazy and hilarious stuff of her confusing texting with Facebooking.

One of ISU's latest bb recruits used to shovel my father-in-law's driveway when the F-I-L would go away for the winter.
