Case in point, I just dialed in and sat there waiting until someone got on and said it was pushed to 11. So in the 7 minutes between getting asked to be a part of it the meeting gets pushed but they can't tell me.
Doesn't that just make you just want to wait until they are on line for the meeting and then text at about 1102 that something came up and you won't be able to make it so they should reschedule?

I just read what Steve Prohm said and it pains my heart. To know that (it seems) the world is against you and everything you do would be so discouraging. I use that word seriously. I wonder whether Jamie talks with him much. I sure hope so, because hearing nothing from your boss when you know things aren't going well speaks volumes.

Brought my car in to the dealership for the first oil change, which is free, and I have the sales receipt that says so with me just in case. Requested a loaner car but they don't have one so now I have to sit here and wait. Hopefully doesn't take too long.

I had a bad experience at the dealership when I took my car in for its first service since buying it. I had already decided to speak to a service manager about it when the service guy went out of his way to find a way to fix the issue. I decided if I was prepared to go in and complain about it I had better be willing to make the effort to let the service manager know that his guy(s) did right by me as well. I spoke with him this morning when I took the car back in to get the fix done. He went from that look of "oh no, here we go again..." to relieved in a hurry. I told him how it went from bad to good and how I felt obligated to let him know if I was prepared to let him know when it was bad. He said that pretty much never happens. That is sad.

The dealership I use for oil changes is usually done in an hour. When things were normal I would get there at 7am and just drop it off and tell them no hurry as I could just walk up the hill to the office.

A good friend of mine had taken his corporate car to some random place to change oil. He hadn't had issues in the past but early last week on his way to work the car started banking loud noises and vibrating. Eventually the dash lit up with a message to pull over and turn off the engine immediately. Turns out what he thought was just a little oil dripping on his driveway was actually all the oil which had dripped out around an over tightened drain plug.

Yeah it didn't take long. My boss took his wife's car in for it's first oil change and they gave him a loaner so I just assumed I'd get one. Never have taken a car in for an oil change before so I didn't know it'd be that fast.

I imagine your boss has some sort of relationship with the dealership because I don't think loaners for an oil change is common.

Good for you for doing the right, albeit rare, thing.
