Her mom has the same name as the woman in the video. Her mom has a meeting today about this incident because people apparently have been calling her place of work or tagging its social media that she did this. The woman daughter is trying to explain that this isn't the woman they want and just has the same name but apparently the keyboard warriors won't listen.

I don't think there's any doubt the young lady could have handled it better. She was clearly trying to goad the people in the car, but who knows what was said in the leadup to her filming.
But in any event, my god be an adult and be a decent human. If you don't like what she's saying roll your window up and ignore her. It's not that hard to just not engage. And then to not only hurl a racial slur at her, but doubling it down with "you don't belong here" is truly awful.
No doubt everyone probably could have handled this better, but one party took it well beyond into something despicable.

It's a stressful situation, that is extremely difficult and scary. We don't know what happened before the camera turned on.
But you know what's not hard? Not saying racist stuff to people.
The one big difference is that if the actual justice system destroys your reputation, you can use said justice system and get recompense.
There is nothing here. Listen, if you yell racist stuff at people I don't particularly care about what happens to you afterward.
But if you put somebody's name out there, INCORRECTLY, about stuff like this IMO you should go to jail. It's extremely damaging to people.

Yeah it sucks that the wrong person was doxxed but it should be fairly simple to prove you aren't the person in the video.
1. Does the wrong person look like the person in the video?
2. Was the wrong person driving around IC after the game?
Those 2 things should make it fairly obvious that it wasn't her.
I knew some people would get hung up on the white privilege comment, but wow are there a lot of you out there. Tell you what people, if someone uses the term white privilege in a way you don't agree with, hurling racist insults back at the person is not a real effective way to make your point.
I did feel like the woman with the camera was trying to bait her when she said that (being an ******* and being white at the same time doesn't make it white privilege), but then when the lady in the car started hurling racial slurs, she kinda proved it/erased my give-a-**** about it.
Yeah, and you still have the option to sue for defamation. Is it a great strategy? No, but it’s better than throwing the person in jail
One person said they looked at facebook and it was obvious that they were not the same people. If that is all it took, it means there are a lot of people not even making a sliver of investigating to see.
It's pretty easy to see that there are probably zero innocent people in the video. Maybe except the dude just trying to give the filmer his information per protocol.

Pretty sure the names she provided of both people involved was correct, people just went after the wrong person with the same name.
