What situation? Sam had a bad half, and I'm starting to turn a little bit on the idea, but I think we need to see another game before we start some good old fashioned Paul Rhoads QB bingo mind****ery.

Sam wasn't good at times, but if you think putting in Lanning or Rohach will solve all the offensive problems, you're in for a rude awakening.

It's a poll. It's not referendum on anyone's play. I'm interested in what other people are thinking.

And I am not SR fan.

I put on for rotating all three, but really, I only see to rotate Rohach and Richardson. Lanning can wait. Rotate Rohach and Richardson if/when the offense becomes stale for a few drives, just to see if changing things up can break the silence. Go with whatever starts working first and let it ride it's course.

I'm in wait and see mode. Too early to make a switch but if we lose the KU game it might be time then to consider it.

Yeah, that wasn't addressed at you specifically. More to the chunk of fans that automatically want him benched if/when we lose.

If Lanning or Rohach were better than Sam they would be starting, they're not. Can't be pulling QB's after every loss.

That second half was on ISU's coaches for not making (the right) offensive adjustments. Sam had a great game until halftime. It was obvious that the only thing that changed was Iowa's defensive scheme and ISU's offensive coaches were not ready for it.

I would say if/when, bowl contention is out the window, then you make the change. Until then though, SR won for a reason which is a scary enough prospect on its own.

I think I counted two bad throws, not including the ones where he was rushed and had to throw the ball away.

Overall, he threw a much more accurate ball than Beathard.

His pocket awareness isn't great but it's improved.

Just don't see how there's any debate. Sam's the man.

I would give SR a few more games. If ISU is 2-4, then through one of the younger kids in and let them get some experience and maybe light a spark.

Obviously CPR thinks SR is the best option to win, so let him ride it as long as he can have a shot of saving CPR's job. Once the season is mathematically over for a realistic bowl game - then let one of the kids play.

I just get tired of watching SR hold the ball in the pocket. Let someone gun sling it.

the coaching staff has done a terrible job recruiting, there are tons of JC QB's better

I assume the coaches know best so I guess stick with SR. What's sad is that SR is the best choice.

I didn't keep count but I know he missed all 3 throws on the drive after Iowa went ahead. Lazard just bailed him out on one of them.
