Puggles...my parents used to raise Treeing Walker Coonhounds though :smile:

I thought they looked like Puggles, but a friend of mine used to have a coonhound, and it looked like a puggle as a puppy to me.

If you have kids I'd vote for a Bassett. They will take whatever abuse children dish out. And when it becomes too much they simply walk away. No growling, no nipping and you don't have to worry about them running around knocking stuff over. They are low maintenance and very mellow. The only drawback is that they are stubborn so be prepared to do some extra training when they are a puppy.
