It's more of a team identity for OU rather than Hield. They still don't have a post option so he is always going to be the highest usage player for Oklahoma.

Thomas did great against him and the dude still put up 27. He will be player of the year.

Hield is going to get his props all year long from everyone. Let's give our guys some love that were able to beat him tonight.

I was keeping my eyes on 24 the entire time when Oklahoma had the ball. Buddy is incredible.

Props to Matt for guarding well him also.
 
Hield is the best player we will face all season. Thomas was like glue and he still gets 27. In my opinion Morris needs to go to the Matt Thomas school of foot speed this summer, he often gets beat on the first step and could improve his defense. Still wouldn't trade him for any other point guard. He was clutch on offense down the stretch.
 
Hield is the best college shooter when there's no space to shoot that I've seen in awhile.

This. Thomas was outstanding, and Hield still played well
 
Buddy had to work awful hard in Norman as well, he got his numbers against ISU but they made it rough on him. He impresses me more every time I watch him.

Everybody should. We're bad enough, but where would we be defensively without Matt's hard work over the summer?
