Not sure if it drove anyone else crazy but when WV banked in 3 straight 3 pointers I knew it wasn't our night. That gave them early separation in the 2nd half that we never really recovered from.

Well apparently the refs looked alot better on tv than they did from the 8th row of the parquet because it looked ridiculous to everyone in my section.

An ISU player could do a WWE 'backbreaker' on an opposing player at halfcourt and most of the crowd would still boo the foul call.

They only got one more free-throw than we did. We got 4 more fouls called that they did. While I agree that is questionable, it is not enough to change a game.

How many did we rack up in the last few minutes?

We jump shoot a lot, WVU (when they aren't banking in 3s), attacks the rim. One of those is going to lead to more fouls whistled than the other.

Maybe he should work the refs constantly like the other coaches do, instead of waving his arms at the crowd or standing on the court and calling plays or something that seems to be ignored

Iowa State fouled more.

With bob thuguns browbeating the refs for 40 minutes and their players fouling every time we bring the ball up the court....NO ISU did not foul more than the mountain men

When you have twice as many fouls as west virginia who is agressively pressing the whole game that isn't a well officiated game.

I didn't feel like WV was overly aggressive with their press at all. There may have been a few no calls in the paint but for the most part I thought WV kept it pretty clean for them.

WVU is 12th in the country and 1st in the Big XII FTA and Iowa State is 331st and last in the Big XII. WVU runs 5-out motion, triangle sets, and heavy screens and cuts to create driving lanes or post opportunities. Iowa State spreads the floor and hucks threes off of kickouts, or plays isoball with Morris. ISU also intentionally fouled at least 3 times in the last 2 minutes. Why is it even an issue that the FT disparity was almost even?

I swear, some of y'all won't be happy unless you double-up WVU in FTAs.

It was pretty clean for them but they still fouled quite a bit.
