Hate to admit it,but that guy was lucky I wasn't sitting close enough to identify him. He would have accidently
slipped on the ice once we got outside. I like to think he did anyway.
When its convenient they’re just kids. Or if it’s convenient they deserve to be paid... like adults.
The hypocrisy of the ncaa is comical. This does not take away the stupidity of yelling in that moment. I just continue to be more and more bothered by the hypocrisy of the whole ncaa system.
I marked disagree just for the bolded part. I don't think the toxicity comes from the cave because you see it in sports threads by people who don't go into the cave. If the cave wasn't here, you'd still have toxic postsFWIW, I disagree with your MBB conclusion but agree with your description above. The cave is a cesspool with no redeeming quality and you can see the toxicity seep into these other boards. It's a shame. Everyone would benefit if the tone reflected more humility. Everyone seems to forget that they don't actually know much of anything with certainty.

Yeah, that's a good point and on reflection I agree you'd still probably have the same level of toxicity with or without the cave. That was a reach on my part.I marked disagree just for the bolded part. I don't think the toxicity comes from the cave because you see it in sports threads by people who don't go into the cave. That confused me at first, but you're right. Otherwise the political BS would get spewed all over these other boards. I suppose that's why it was created in the first place. Brilliant!WIthout the cave, the toxicity would be much, much worse.
I’ve argued that it happened long before this. I will keep the politics out of it but any collection or group of people from a rural state and super rural areas are going to have “economic anxiety” if you know what I mean.
They always think that someone is trying to step on them or pull some wool over their eyes and they deserve more and they deserve better because they are who they are and when they dont get it the rage levels go off the charts. The straw men take center stage, and they zero in on a single target to focus all of their rage and self hate in to.
I think that was definitely the wrong time to say something like that. You keep your mouth shut or just leave and skip the ceremony. That said, Prohm deserves some criticism. This team had talent, they just needed a coach who could manage personalities and maximize effort. He couldn’t do it. This collapse is on Prohm no matter how people want to spin it. If he can’t take the criticism for that, then he needs to find a different job where the fans aren’t as invested.
Your're a toolbout time he gets mad this golly gee good ole boy act is getting old real fast.
Just as CSP's adjustment was vs Purdue. Give ball to Deonte, everyone get out of the way.Fred's adjustment was literally streetball.
How do you acquire the Dumb button? Seems like a worthwhile purchase, just for this post.
And I loved those teams. They were frustrating, and the effort was extremely inconsistent, but at least they were winning and making the tournament.
But those second round exits were directly related to these same issues.
A 24 year old grad transfer, and a POY senior, helped solve a lot of those issues. If Shayok had Deandre’s attitude (and game), a lot of the problems of team hierarchy would have been resolved.
Or lightning too...(rolling eyes)Fred had great offenses here because he had spacing, shooters, and grown men to create mismatches. Not lightening quick adjustments.
How is he not taking the heat?
Or lightning too...(rolling eyes)
He is totally accepting mediocrity when we have all these fans that refuse to accept mediocrity. How can that possibly be acceptable?
Accepting mediocrity, in the face of all of these people that refuse to accept mediocrity, is totally mediocre and not acceptable.
There’s only two ways to vote. With your donates and with your ticket purchases. I bet the ratio of “don’t do either to do both” lean a pretty heavily to one side with the “Not accepting mediocrity” crowd.
