Pro Combat Concept Jersey

I don't like a lot of the helmet designs. ISU atheletics has decided that the logo is I State, and I'm good with that.

Lets just have a cardinal colored helmet with I State on the side. I don't like all the flashy helmets. Flashy is not what CPR is trying to produce. This is a blue collar program. Lets keep it simple.

I don't think the uniform concept is flashy. Its simple, unique, and just plain awesome. Lets not ruin it with some of these crappy helmet designs.

What does this helmet look like with a white block I or I-State on it?

i tend to agree with you. i think it just needs the I State logo and that's it. The more we win and the more its out there the more people will know what it is.

I would go with a no on the carbon fiber look. Either all cardinal or "yellow" gold. With two stripes down the middle would be sweet too. (Also, we should always have the grey facemasks too. Classy look IMO.)

I like these designs though, but the "tornado" logo is too big IMO. Any chance that you can make it small... and add an ISU above it, much like LSU does with their tiger on their helmets?

If you could do that design, on a solid cardinal helmet, I could get behind that.

I agree here as well. The I-State logo is traditional looking and should be the main "mark" for years and years to come.


But again, just for "special" games sake, a look from our past will always be cool.

It was from a different thread...an opinion article came out (a few days ago i believe) about the way players act and dress basically and the person mention how athletes always wear sweatpants and that it doesn't represent the school very well...pretty stupid

Looks really good man! I think the stripes should be wider and have less of an angle. Also, I think staying with the current helmet is the best option.

Looks really good though man! I like the yellow patches on the sleeves

I get really excited to see things like this. I'd love to see this concept on the field.
 
Some awesome alternates in this thread.

I don't want any to be permanent switch. Once-per-year, I suggest a mixture:

1. Trice uniform, with the big numbers. (White, not black).

2. OP's helmet concept, yellow with just the "I."

(I want to make a mock-up combo of those, but my Photoshopping skill is too limited).
 
And one additional small touch ... Walking Cy somewhere, without being a distraction.

I thought about on shoulders in place of numbers — but probably too prominent Maybe just on the top of one pant leg.

I moved the number and made it larger, put numbers on the shoulders, and changed the helmet to what I used on my first design. I also snook Walking Cy onto the collar logo. Give me any other ideas you guys have. I will try to keep up with them and post them back up.
