Pro Combat Concept Jersey

We still need the all white look this season. It would be bad @$$ to go to Iowa City wearing these this season.

I moved the number and made it larger, put numbers on the shoulders, and changed the helmet to what I used on my first design. I also snook Walking Cy onto the collar logo. Give me any other ideas you guys have. I will try to keep up with them and post them back up.

Like!

Cardinal trim around the number on the front as with ISUbeatle's sample — sets it apart from the background a little better. I could live with no Cyclones on the pants, just solid gold — may fit better w/ true-throwback style

I didn't like the white jersey/white pants look on the road last season, but as a 1-game alternate, I do like it as long as it included the white helmet.

Do the Trice-throwback once, and all-white on the road once each season, I could dig that.

No matter how cool these other mock-ups are (including the Trice ones), the all-white and white helmets are the single cleanest, most classic, by far the best looking uniforms I've seen.

Disagree. White on White was much the improvement over those gawd-awful red pants..Even seeing them in the spring game made me cringe

I do like the look of the all-white with white helmets but the only drawback for me is that it looks a little too much like the Texas uniforms. Of course we always get hammered for looking like USC so no matter what comparisons will be drawn.

But I really like the Trice-design uniforms. Those would be a legitimate oriiginal while also telling the the Iowa State story of Jack Trice!

Here is my newest one.

- Red helmet with just an I
- Small number in the corner
- Cy logo on the collar
- Plain yellow pants

This!

FWIW, I was talking to an employee of athletics, specifically in the equipment side of things and they confirmed that the Jack Trice designs had been shown around and were well received....doesn't mean anything will happen, but cool that they think it's cool. I think a lot of it would come down to $$$ and who paid (Nike, us, etc).

On a side note, that does make me wonder, how the Nike contract works. Meaning, do we get things at cost, free, etc. I would imagine to outfit each player with pads, helmet, other gear is hundreds of dollars.

But I bet the money made from selling the jerseys after the game would more than make up for it.
