Pro Combat Concept Jersey

i was a little bored and thought i'd give it a shot. I remember someone mentioning one time that a uniform based off of the one Jack Trice wore would be cool.

i mess up the logo a on the helmet, i'm horrible with perspective, but you get the general idea.

If we ever do Pro Combat, or any alt. jersey, this would be absolutely perfect.. Jack's story and the saga that led to the stadium being named for him is something I love about Iowa State and is a unique part of our history. This would be SO cool.

This is outstanding. These would be bad***.

Both designs are great, but I especially like the Trice Throwback. Agree to go with the black numerals, and then we could go with a matte black helmet with the red block I on the side.

I think the Jack Trice uniform would be a great Nike Pro Combat concept. Everybody else is using Nike to be flashy, but we would be using it to honor our history.

The OP's design is very slick. That would be a great throwback option as well.

The 89th aniversary of Jack Trices death is Oct 8 2012. If we have a home game on Oct 6th it would be a good weekend for these Pro Combat Throwbacks.

If that week of the schedule mirrors this years at all we will have Baylor at home that weekend.

I want these to be our permanent uniforms, not just something special. These are HOT, and someone connected to the football department needs to show this to them. Or just email Pollard

That may be the coolest looking ISU uni I've ever seen. I'd probably leave the socks solid, as it starts to get a little busy, but other than that, I'd sign up for those unis in a heartbeat.

That is beautiful. Everyone saying to make the numbers black are 100% wrong. The black numbers are fugly. The uniform as you made it here is ******* perfect, right down to the stripes on the socks. It's a perfect homage to Jack Trice and I would love to see our guys in these unis.

Get rid of the numbers on the front.

I was thinking the same thing but for maybe the 90th or even 100th anniversary. 100th is probably too far away in 2023 but for the 90th in Oct of 2013 would be amazing!!

This uniform is one of my favorite fan renderings I have seen. I think the small number like the Michigan example would be cool on it too. Great job!!

I went ahead and threw some of these ideas together. I made the helmet similar to what Mizzou wore as pro combats a few years ago. I used a lot of the same elements from the first concept.
