Pro Combat Concept Jersey

I came to this page to make a snarky comment about how much attention a fan generated uniform was getting. Instead I say "that is flipping awesome". I think a bunch of people should print them out and bring them to the party tonight. Get them in front of the coaches in addition to Jamie.

And tonight is the perfect chance because you're going to a party about recruiting for a site called cyclone fanatic. So a little bit of over excitement will not look strange at all.

Make sure you bring up that 2015, the 40th anniversary of Jack Trice Stadium, would be a perfect year to do it.

Can you put TAKE COVER on the front of the collar instead of the inside? That slogan is so badass that it should not be covered up!

ALL IN was Chizdick. TAKE COVER is the future.

And omg, this cannot wait until 2015. It must happen in 2012. If the Mayans are right, it's our only chance to do this! (and yes, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit at giving the 2012 theory any credence.)

Saw this article and looked through it and definitely liked what I saw!:

Big Ten, Big 12 Helmet Concepts by Charles Sollars

Basically a guy went through and did what he thought would be sweet pro combat helmets for each team in the Big XII and B1G. Have to say I'm a huge fan of our concept, mostly because that's my favorite ISU brand/logo.

Here is another link for all the other helmets he did for us, must say this could start up a new thing for white helmets (again, would totally be all for it, or shall I say ALL IN):

ISU's look sweet...the white one especially ;) Also...the Illinois helmet is awesome too IMO

Forget alternates... make these our regular jerseys. We would build some brand ID in a hurry with those! Well done, sir!

BTW, where did you find the pro-combat templates?

God I hope this gets done. It would be so sweet I think Sweet Caroline should be played after it is announced!!!!

The only problem is the stripes on the front convey Adidas (at least to me). I guess anything three stripes just screams Adidas and I don't think Nike would make anything with three stripes. Maybe try adding one more on each side? It looks to me like Jack Trice had more than three on his shirt anyway.

I do think this is a great idea and something that we should definitely do (even posted my own mockups earlier), but I'm not sure how unique the angled front stripes are to ISU (could've been pretty common in that era). Here's an infographic showing tOhio St had something similar in the 20s - at around the same as JT.

Da Bears wore basically this in the 20s also.
