Premier League

I caught bits and pieces of some matches in the fall, but made a point of watching about 5 or 6 full matches early this year when they were in the middle of that 20+ unbeaten run along with all of the promotion playoff matches.

Go ahead make fun but I paid the $150 to Fulham FC TV last yr to watch any match not on Sky live. The Sky matches were ESPN3 so I also got those live. ( Too bad that isnt an option this yr with Prem broadcast rights)

Love that they secured Mitro. I also think the other signings are good too. Jean Michael Seri is a stud. Schurrle is quality and a good signing especially since we needed another wing forward with Piazon's loan over and him going back to Chelsea.

Alfie Mawson is in for a Medical tomorrow would love for Fulham to secure him. He and Ream would be a very good center back pairing.

Top 6 predictions?

1.) Man City - Guardiola + what seems like a billion dollar transfer budget wins the Premier League for the foreseeable future.
2.) Liverpool - Klopp leads another exhilarating Liverpool front 4, but in Klopp fashion, fails to get the most out of his defense costing Liverpool the title.
3.) Spurs - As long as Pochettino + Kane are at Tottenham, the Spurs will continue to make the top 4, but not even Poch can bring a trophy to the Spuds.
4.) Arsenal - The new appointment of Unai Emery leads to a drastic improvement in discipline throughout the club. Aubamayeng's +30 goals sneaks Arsenal within the top four.
5.) Man United - The biggest fraud of them all Mourinho continues to see third year struggles as he loses the locker room late, costing the Red Devils Champions League football.
6.) Chelsea - The Blues get off to a rocky start with the new appointment of Sarri, but salvage the season late to earn a Europa League spot.

Sounds about right- Jose will be gone by Christmas- He is in his third year where everything goes to sh** for him. He is already criticizing his players and the season hasn't even started yet. Miserable prick, I know I'm one but this guy makes me look like chuckles the clown.

Ill go with:
1 - Liverpool
2 - City
3 - Arsenal
4 - Spurs
5 - Chelsea
6 - Man U

City and Spurs had a large contingent of players playing late in the World Cup and that could cause a slow start for them. Chelsea pip Man U for 5th only if they keep Hazard and keep/find a suitable replacement for Courtois. Jose will have Man U in dysfunction before getting sacked. Liverpool have had the best summer on the transfer front out of the top 6. Arsenal should be more solid having added some defensive help in the transfer market as well.

Up the Arse! Nah the defenders they have signed are on the wrong side of thirty. Chelsea aren't keeping Hazzard. I hope they don't get Pulisic. I don't see Pulisic choosing chelsea's hot mess over Big Jurgie and Liverpool but that could be rose tinted glasses. I am not sure Arse supporters really thought through the Wenger going thing. Be careful what you wish for it could be 6th.

Is the Community Shield game on TV in the US this weekend? I'm not finding it listed anywhere.

What am I missing with Arsenal? I don't think their signings + new coach = 3rd

Normal year, I'd agree. I just think that with a good chunk of Spurs players coming back late due to the WC, they struggle out of the gate and Arsenal gets a jump on them and holds them off for 3rd.

Kind of a Random question, but due to the recent Spurs talk in here, thought this was as good of a group as any to ask. I am going to the Spurs v AC Milan match tonight. I know of the Main World Cup players who aren't there, and some of the injuries through the first 2 games of the ICC, but who should I be looking for on the Spurs? Who is a bright spot that I should keep an eye on? I admittedly don't want EPL as much as Bundas. Any info on AC Milan would be welcomed as well :)

You have to watch out for all of them. Especially around your girlfriend, your wallet, and your pack of cigarettes.
