Bad news for Fulham today. Alfie Mawson won't be available for the first 3 league matches. Given that Denis Odoi is suspended for the first 2 matches (sent off a few times late last season), the center back opposite of Ream is a huge concern.

I watched the friendly over the weekend against Celta Vigo and Le Marchand is terrible. Unless Jokanovic feels comfortable playing Marcelo Djalo alongside Ream, I have got to think Slovisa is pondering a 3-5-2. Maybe he even plays Kevin McDonald alongside Ream. Regardless Center back is a real concern right now. With the way we like to play and taking a step up in competition the Mawson news couldn't have come at worse time

I don’t know if they’d throw him in right away, but didn’t Fulham secure a year long loan for Calum Chambers this week from Arsenal? I read up on him a bit when I saw the news and it looks like he started as a RB but has played centrally for Arsenal in the past.

Would love to hear what the Arsenal fans on this board think of Chambers.

Saw that he was signed. It was finalized yesterday less than a day after my post. Clearly they know they need some help at the position, but like you say I don't know if Fulham will start him Sat. Man I am so anxious to see them Sat.

Had a terrific end to the season last year. Was really in a good run of form. A lot of us can't figure out why we loaned him without finding a replacement before the deadline. A good bit of business on Fulham's part of you ask me.

Playing FIFA on Xbox. That color scheme was atrocious at first, but I grew really attached to it. I tried being a Chelsea fan at first since all my friends were Man-U, but I just found myself always tuning in when the Hammers were on. Plus, that episode of the IT Crowd really sold it for me
