PREDICTIONS: Iowa State vs. No. 8 Texas Tech

I hope this team comes out with an inspired effort Saturday. An energized Hilton crowd would go a long ways to getting this team back on track going into tournament time. It's on the team to come out and show the effort and hustle early on to get the crowd into the game as most fans are already down and frustrated with this team right now and a half-ass effort like we saw at West Virginia is not going to go over well with the fans. I want to be standing up screaming at the top of my lungs on a big defensive play and not sitting in my seat pissed off at what I am watching.
Hopefully this team has ate some humble pie by now because they and us all know what they are capable of if they put the team first and get after it on defense. It's a lot of fun to watch fast break offense on a turnover or missed shot and I would thing the players love a good fast break offense too. Hoping to see an inspired effort Saturday but my expectations coming in are watching the dumpster fire and seeing which players are dumping the fuel onto it and which ones are trying their best to put the fire out.

I'm sticking with Blum the homer. We show up and light Hilton on fire with our shooting.

I had a dream last night that we started strong and kept the lead and won by 18, 75-57. Dreams can’t be wrong can they?

I've had a gut feeling we'll win this one for awhile. A few weeks of bad play hasn't changed that. These guys won't roll over and die on senior day. 82-74 ISU. defense is still broken, but good enough to win. Difference today will be the 3 ball. They're due for a good shooting game.
If we spread the floor, send at least three guys to the boards on all shots, avoid matador defense, and play with fire for 40 minutes, we got this thing!
Except as much as everyone likes to go with the toughness, defense, rebounding cliche narrative when things go south this team has really lived and died by the way they shoot from 3.
