PREDICTIONS: Iowa State vs. No. 8 Texas Tech

All the people giving us no chance will still bash Prohm if we lose.

I think we win if NWB can play defense on Culver like he did in Lubbock, he was torching Shayok but Nick made him work for every shot. Holding him to 12-15 = an ISU win IMO.

Glad to see Brent and Kirk haven't given up on this team.
Cyclones find a way, they win 78-74.

Who has Tech beaten this year?

Their best win is a down KU in Lubbock and KSU without Wade...
Well they are 13-4 in the conference, have won 8 in a row. They pretty much have beaten everyone in the Big 12 besides us. I am hoping we take two from them this year but the tea leaves are not in our favor.

Barf. So the baseline for improvement tomorrow is "give a crap". I can't believe this is where they're at in March.

I don’t believe that’s the baseline, and in terms of a highly competitive person, he’s expecting guys to be fully invested.

It’s a crappy situation, but not insurmountable, and you’ve got to start somewhere.

My work 'puter won't read tweets. Would it be too much to ask for you to summarize them? )I'm hoping for some good news!)

Jacobson said he doesn’t think they have chemistry issues, but guys need to give a crap. Says he talked to THT and they are good. Coach Prohm met with the team won’t characterize the situation as good, but says they’re on the uphill climb. Shayok’s got a sprained toe that is a pain management situation, game time decision (playing won’t hurt it more).

I get that, but they played nobody in non-conference which adds to those wins. The only team they played is Duke and they lost.

They lost @ Baylor, @ KState, @ Kansas and of course us at home.

They’re not some unbeatable superpower team like you all think...

Ok, but if you haven't noticed we're not exactly the 1996 Bulls right now.

I hope you're right though. My confidence is pretty much gone but I still want this team to finish strong.

I'd certainly like Shayok to play but if we only get one, a healthy Babb is more important. We've overcome subpar games by Shayok - not by Babb.

Unfortunately, I'd guess TT 80 ISU 65.... hope I'm wrong.
