Predict who starts at QB.

Barnett starts and finishes if Lenz and White come back. If only one of the two come back, Barnett plays until his playmaker is not available and he's forced to make alternative decisions (which he has a tough time doing). If neither come back, Barnett starts, plays horribly, Richardson finishes.

Jantz is a non-factor in this game, IMO. He's had his chances.

He got pulled only after a legit team whipped our *****.

And lost his first 4 Big 12 games he started..........plus handed the Hawkeyes the game on a silver platter, luckily Iowa and the B1G is horrible and could not score. He got whipped in every Big 12 game he started.

Last year?

If we're going to use last year comparisons...which QB has shown improvement in their ability to complete passes and which one hasn't. I'll wait right here...

If Steele wasn't in the picture for this week they would not have played him last week.

Steele starts Steele wins Steele is the QB for the rest of the season. END OF STORY

JB has lost 2x as many games as Jantz this season. Time to ride the pine pony bro

What each option indicates:

Barnett: coaches still have faith in team as a whole and think the season can be salvaged

Richardson: coaches are hoping for a spark, but looking toward next year

Jantz: coaches are desparate, out of ideas and praying for a miracle

Steele Muthaf***ing Jantz

Steele gives the offense the best chance to keep up with Baylor's scoring. If ISU > 14 points down after the first half, I think we might see Richardson. I think it will take the highest scoring output of the season to win.

I think we will see JB and he will do well for the first 2 series where the plays are scripted. The wheels start falling after his first inaccurate pass and will be replaced after the offense becomes stagnant. If SR is to make his debut then this is the defense everyone should want him going against.

I don't think anyone agrees with you here. This is a ridiculous post. Rhoads likes to pick whoever played best in practice each week. Practice is different than a game, but thats how Rhoads likes to do it.

I hope its not Jantz. I wish the best for the guy, but I think its time to move on from that experiment. The body language of the players when he is in tells me all I need to know about whether he is a starter the remainder of the season or not.

I think that the coaches want to see a good running game on Saturday which will mean that Barnett gets the start. If that's not working and he keeps throwing it to the grass then we should see Richardson. Jantz just isn't good enough at the zone-read in my opinion.

I think JB starts, but this is an important game to become bowl eligible and think it won't take many struggles and a change will happen.

SR did run a similar offense in highschool

Tough crowd. Fortunately, my opinion doesn't require your agreement. And even if you're right, I don't feel lonely: there are plenty of ridiculous posts in this thread.
