I remember watching Veridel in the Maui Invitational last season against Baylor. Dude scored something like 40 points, but 30 were in the first half. Baylor did a pretty good job of shutting him down after watching him make everything in the first half.
Not really a potential transfer for us, per se, but didn't seem to deserve it's own thread and didn't see anywhere.
Henderson transferring out of WVU as well. Something's wrong going on down in Morgantown.

Huggins says they're "fine". Wouldn't bet on him being wrong. Guessing by conference time, he'll have a competitive team. Not sure how good all their recruits and redshirts are, but supposedly good players. Staten and that beast center are great to build around.
Who has less player left from last season between OSU and WVU? The only West Virginia player left I can think of is Staten.
They also return the big dude that looks like a minion from Despicable Me... That guy tore us up last year.
As was mentioned in a post here during their trip to Ames in 1012 season, Huggy appears to have an alcohol problem.
No, not that guy. The one I'm thinking of is Devin Williams (looked it up) who wears some sort of goggles.. I just remember he was a rebounding machine against us and got a lot of garbage hoops because of that..
Agreed; that guy looked very good for a freshman last year. Especially vs. a team make up like Iowa State. Going against bruisers is not our current forte.
Him vs. Gathers could make for an entertaining slugfest.
Yes Devin Williams and Staten are two darn good cornerstones to build around. Last I remember, WV fans were pretty high on a couple recruits or guys sitting out. Huggy-ville will probably be just fine.
I don't think we were ever involved but I recall some people wanting us to go after him.
