Potential Transfers '14

Speaking of which, I saw some article where the author argued that WVU losing Harris really isn't a big deal. (???) If he hadn't been Big 12 I would have been pretty happy with Hoiberg going after him. And if he wasn't a punk.

Considering what WVU brings back besides Harris and what they're adding I don't think it's a stretch at all to think they'll improve.

WVU may be better next year, but they'd be better still if their returning 17 ppg SG was returning as previously thought.

Agreed. With Harris, they were a top-3 Big 12 team IMO, and maybe top 20 overall. As it is, hopefully they avoid those non-conference losses so when they go 10-8 or 11-7 in the Big 12, it does not hurt the league.
 
I wonder if anyone from Tennessee will jump ship with Martin leaving. Probably not, but a guy can dream about Stokes graduating this Spring, can't he?
 
Our neighbors to the east have asked about the release of Cole Huff. I thought they were above that and wanted to build their program up the right way.

That was last year. That was their slow boat to China rebuild. Now they want to speed it up.

The transfer game has become like a meat market.

Don't tell me that. I want that guy more than Hollowell, etc. Okay, time to quit being greedy, I suppose. But, assume we've asked too? Huff... yes, please. (Darn easterners will be able to sell more playing time possibly with White, Olesani,and whomever as seniors??..maybe not)

In my opinion Huff will not leave the west coast unless he has to. But he surely won't leave for a program like Iowa. I'm not even sure if Iowa St has a chance with him.Has anyone seen a list of school's he is interested in? I'm guessing a majority of the schools he would like to visit are the ones he is restricted from going to. It will be interesting to see if all 45 (estimated) restrictions hold true.

Huff would have to sit out a year so those players wouldn't be ahead of him.
