Potential Transfers '14

Byron Wesley looks good, has an odd shot though, not sure if he's eligible this season or has to sit out. I think he would fit better on the 2015-2016 team than next years.

Looks like he'd be eligible right away, which would kind of be a log jam for us then.

I would like to announce that I have decided to graduate from USC this summer and transfer for my final year of college basketball.

@GoodmanESPN: Marshall transfer Kareem Canty will visit Auburn, South Florida and Penn State.

Bruce Pearl looks to be taking a page out of Fred's "How to turn around a struggling program" book. And I'll bet he'll have Auburn back in the tournament in a couple years.

Yeah, would have been a good fall back option if B D-J recruitment didn't work out but as it stands the back court is set. I would guess Fred would only be looking at a post player 5th year transfer opton, if at all.

Huff would have to sit out a year so those players wouldn't be ahead of him.

Re-read my post. That's what I was saying. They could sell "playing time" to him because they lose White and Olesani, two starters in their frontcourt who graduate as he sits out.

Here is a highlight video of Hollowell in High School. IU lost so much talent before this past season and they were really looking for him to be star for them. Pretty tough spot for a Sophomore that didn't really play a major role as a freshman. When he didn't play well, Crean seemed to make him a scapegoat for the whole team's struggles. Hollowell has the talent, we will see if Fred thinks he has the character to contribute to our success.

I'm not sure I really understand your post, but I think KU was interested in him. Maybe he wants a situation where he's a lock to start.
That I would love it if KU went used a scholarship redshirting a guy like Canty. KU is not because they looked, and ended up realizing they can get better options, so I do not see it as a "at least KU" is not on the list situation.

This makes sense since his brother Al went there.

@GoodmanESPN: Keep being told per multiple industry sources that Florida is in the mix for Michigan transfer Jon Horford.
