Clemson would have been tough but it wouldn't be impossible. It still took -3 turnover margin for OU to barely squeak one out so I honestly think the only untouchable was Bama.
Iowa’s AD led the committee. Hawkeyes say he got us in, so now the hawkeyes are complaining because we pulled a Hawkeye,but won the bowl.

This year will be the first time Iowa State will line up against Iowa and be just as good if not better in the trenches. Defensively we have held Iowa down the last several years but our offensive line just gets whipped. That all changes this year. I can't remember the last time we were this balanced with the hawks in the trenches but you would definitley have to go back to the Danny Mac era.
