This issue combined with the eventual decline of enrollment in traditional "brick and mortar" universities will destroy collegiate athletics within 20 years. Just my opinion.
The Rag will run with this. Randy P has a slight chub over the idea already.
As far as I can tell Pollard pee'd in Miller's Cheerios at some point. That degenerate gambler will take any opportunity to trash on Pollard.
Good thing its only your opinion as bat **** crazy as it is. Not going to happen.

Totally agree with Pollard. I'm all for a stipend, but they would need a set limit and it would have to be for all sports or nothing. Let each school decide. You can't do just FB and Mbb. If you do, the lawsuits will start up because who's to say that a FB player works harder than a soccer player or swimmer?
i do think that if they ever get into paying players for autographs or jersey sales, the opportunity for corruption will be too large and cfb will eventually fall apart. Let them have their stipend and call it good.
Their scholly's cover only one meal a day.
Which part isn't going to happen? Decline in enrollment, playing players, or the decline of college sports?
How about they lower the cost of tuition instead?Aren't we basically talking about an extra $2500 per year. Just enough to cover the extra meals that athletes can't cover through a part time job that they aren't afforded? Their scholly's cover only one meal a day.
College sports are too big for their own good.
