POLL: New Head Coach???

The entire Grand View coaching staff. We recruit the same level talent and Austin Flynn in their OC. They are currently stomping Drake for the second straight year. Hell, why not?

He just fired basically his whole staff on offense and hired new staff, if you think that won't take time then you are the one coming up with excuses.

If the firing "basically the whole staff is not telling of his competency, it is you looking for excuses.

Rhoads has several years to get things improved, but I do not see it happening.

once you start firing coordinators, you know the end is nigh.

Walden did have good kickers. That's about it.

I've said since Mangino was hired we have our next head coach in the wings. Either that or hire kiffins wife at least we might be able to get some better recruits.

Quite honestly, as bad as Rhoads is, or as bad as the program has become under his watch, I'm not sure anyone with any credentials whatsoever would want the job. You'd be in the position of taking a flyer on another unproven assistant coach, in which case you might as well keep what you've got or just hand the job to Mangino.

I think with all the facility improvements and the crowds that a bad team can draw I would think a good coach could be found. Look at Baylor and their facilities and who they got - just a matter of finding the right coach.

Saying you don't want Kiffin because he isn't that good of a coach is laughable. He has a 35-21 record as a head coach. That's way better than Rhoads has done. If you're going to sit here and say you'd rather have Rhoads than Kiffin, you have to be pretty dumb. I'll take almost anyone over Rhoads.

Do you even watch football? Yeah, 35-21 at two of the best programs in CFB history. The dude went 7-6 at Tennessee and left them in tatters to go and basically ruin USC. He can't win at Tennessee and you think he is going work wonders here? Come on.

Until they relocate ISU to the state of Texas, comparisons to Baylor should stop.

I'd be happy with Phil Montgomery. Maybe Bob Diaco if he could get things rolling at UConn this year and we could offer him more money. Matt Wells from Utah State (Luke Well's brother).

I haven't really looked at a lot of options yet, but those are a few names that come to mind.
