Peter Jok

Doesn't his brother Dauo (SP?) play on the same Attack team as HB?

That's weird if he is, because Dauo (to lazy to look up correct spelling) is somewhere around 6'1 and Peter is somewhere around 6'4 and growing.

So who will have more influence on young Mr. Jok. His Roosevelt HS coach who is a native Iowan and ISU alum and former player...or his AAU coach who is an ISU alum and former player? Who would we "want" to have more influence if he is to be the next HB?

I believe the Roosevelt coach resigned after this past season.

The less Sullivan is involved the better for ISU...tired of watching him stab ISU in the back.

Keep hearing this. Like a posted a month or so ago, I was told by a ex member of the AIA that McDermott blamed Sullivan for not getting a committment out of HB early in the process

Boosters are going to start pulling there funding on Sullivans AAU team if he does not stop trying to block kids from going to Iowa State. It's just rediculous.

What would be his problem with ISU? I apologize if its been mentioned before. This is fairly new to me.

God forbid Sullivan try to do what's best for the kid (gasp) and not what's best for his alma mater.

I think it's fairly clear that the best thing for the kid, any kid, is to take all his visits, weigh all the information, wait it out (especially if you are an elite prospect and any school in the country will make room for you), and make the right decision that is the best fit overall.

I agree with this...as long as he is not trying to single out ISU for personal reasons.

And I'm sure Sullivan isn't thinking about how if HB or any other of his AAU players were to sign with a Duke or a UNC instead of an Iowa State would effect his national status as an AAU coach.

I think the perception is that Sully is actively pushing guys away from ISU though. It's no secret he's not a big McD fan.

How do you know that Jake is not a fan of McD. what leads you to believe this. Has it ever came out of Jakes mouth?

What has Jake done to stab Iowa State in the back? I hope you will help shed some light on this for us. What he said on the radio wasn't that bad, so is that the only thing you are going on. I am not saying you are wrong, as I have been wondering about Jake for a while also.

He really hasn't said anything to bad on the radio, other than saying it will be hard for ISU to get top level players to come to ISU with McDermott's offense. I agree with that statement, but I don't know if I would have said it for everyone to hear

I remember the LE deal...I liked LE, so that didn't sit well with me. Bad mouthing ISU publicly with a direct connection to the university. I'm fine with Sullivan helping kids with their options...hope that is all he is doing.

I remember that too, but that was many years ago. I hope Jake has grown from that time, and doesn't still hold the same views of Iowa State. LE seems to have gotten over that whole terrible situation, and still seems to love Iowa State. I hope Jake feels the same way!

Just my opinion...I think Jake is worried about Jake.
