Or Danell Ellerbe. Or Paul Kruger. Or Ed Reed. Or Cary Williams. That Flacco deal is astoundingly stupid.
Yeah, no way Flacco deserves more money than Brady, both Mannings, Rodgers, etc. Just plain stupid.

Slot receivers are a dime a dozen. Harvin was not. Harvin was the silver dollar of slot receivers. He is a complete stud and worth 2x any other slot. The slot is a luxury, a #1 is basically a necessity.
Easiest way to develop a QB is put weapons around him and a solid line in front of him.

Rodgers was still riding the bench at this time in his career. And he still had another year left of riding the bench. And his first year starting was not stellar. It just takes time.
I'd say it's debatable at least.
He was also behind a Hall of Fame QB as well.
I know it takes time, but getting weapons around him may speed up his development.
Recieving a first round pick minimum is a win for the Vikings. The GM wants to build through the draft and now witb two first round picks and 11 total they have some firepower.Wide reciever will surely be a priority come april as will defense.Percy Harvin is a dynamic player when heal thy and motivated. Will seattle get both heal thy and motivated Harvin? Maybe, the storyline for our trip to seattle just got interesting.
I applaud the Seahawks for making this trade. They have such a strong defense that they must feel a player like Harvin just might put them in contention for it all next year. Why not...you don't get too many chances in the NFL so go for it when you can.
I do think the Vikings can promote this as a "win" as well so both teams have reasons to feel good about this trade.

Looks like Boldin to the 49ers.

for a 6th round pick, it sounds like. That seems pretty low, but then again he's pretty old and has a hefty cap number
