Anybody happen to hear the post game of the Nebraska game? I'm sure it has to be in total meltdown mode.

Is Pelini going to be canned after the season? It looked like he was about ready to play the "knockout" game with the ref. Then with his halftime interview and desperation fake punt it looked like he almost knew things were going to be riding on this game.

Think of how drunk Bo Pelini will be by like 9:00 tonight. Think how unemployed he will be when the season is over.

Seems to be the sentiment in Nebby land, takes them a little longer than everyone else to realize he is a psycho.

I keep waiting for him to punch out a player, official, or fan. Shocked it hasn't happened yet.

I'm not a Pelini fan. I think he's a hot-tempered idiot, but I respect two things from the press conference:
1. He didn't back down and stood his ground, backing up his players and coaches all the way.
2. He responded in kind to a question they all know he can't answer. Half of that presser is the question "Can you tell us when you're getting fired?" If you ask that stupid question, you've earned the right to hear a combative answer. It's just a rude question that's impossible to answer.

Reminds me of the coach's radio show that Bill Callahan had in his last year right before he was fired. Callers continued calling in asking him when he would be fired, and after one of those questions, there was like a 15 second pause before he answered.

Nebraska fans need to be honest with themselves and realize that the Tom Osborne days are never, ever coming back. Ever. It just isn't going to happen. Be happy with your 8-9 regular season wins each year and maybe getting 10 wins occasionally. NC runs just aren't going to happen anymore.

He has over a 7 million dollar buyout and it is a brand new AD. Tough spot for a new AD

No, they aren't.

I'll never understand what people expect from a coach when they ask that "When will you be fired?" question. It's just a dumb way to stir the pot.

the Huskers will be in a bowl game and Pellini's buyout is close to 8 mil. I don't think he gets canned this year.

I don't think that amount will stop too many of their boosters from writing a check. Wasn't Callahan's bigger at the time and a booster walked into the AD office and put the check down saying get rid of him. There was some story out there like that.

I agree about Bo, at least he did man up and didn't throw anybody under the bus.

It's the in-person version of online trolling. I mean, there are only really two ways to answer the question....either by ignoring it, or telling them it's a stupid question.
