Palo expected back next week

Why would you hope that? I understand (but disagree) thinking his minutes will be limited, but hope? I hope he comes back and is good enough to play a lot- that would mean we just got better.

This! My god some of you have no clue. What does this team struggle with? Well first off allen and scotty suck at defense while bubu is are 2nd best on-ball defender on the team. You dont think that wont help? Also allen and scotty rarely slash to the hoop and when they do its not effective. Bubu can get in the lane and get to the free throw line. Hey look at that, Bubu just made us better at 2 things we struggle with! But yeah, he shouldnt even see the floor. SMH

The only thing that worries me is the rotation and if/how that will affect chemistry. His minutes will come from someone. How will that impact that player(s)? Everyone is in a pretty good groove right now. The others do things better than Palo. The tradeoff works both ways. Fred will figure it out.

Nothing to worry about. If we need shooters (OU game)- Bubu sees little time. If we need a pg on either end of the floor (Ok St game)- Bubu sees a good amount of minutes. If Bubu is not too rusty, I think he sees 10-20 minutes in the Baylor and Missouri games.

Second best on ball defender? Babb, Allen, Ejim and McGee are all better.
Saying Allen sucks at defense is laughable.

I knid of agree but IMO allen babb and especially scotty have been playing to many minutes in big 12 play because mcgee is the only person who can sub in for them. So if bubu comes back and just takes 2-3 minutes away from each of them it wont be a big deal but it should help all them stay more fresh throughout the game and fight off some fatique. They will all need to be fresh for the big 12 tourney and (hopefully) the NCAA tourney

The same people complaining about Scotty bringing the ball up the floor are probably the ones saying Bubu shouldn't have many minutes.

Babb has been playing close to 40 minutes per game. He could use some breaks down the stretch. Scotty is much more effective at 32 minutes than 36.

Bubu isn't going to come up and play 20 minutes, but I think he will be very useful in 8-15 minutes per game.

Glad he will be back that means more depth for us which is what we need down the stretch!!!!

Look, Bubu provides quality minutes on the floor. Anytime we can go deeper on the bench the better the team will be. Some of these comments are laughable.
