Facts. ISU team overmatched in almost every way comes in with great plan to win. Just didn't execute. So many missed tackles and bad passes.
Blame only the staff if you want. But that's your head in the sand.

Some of us are sick of this ****. I dont care about record or rankings. We were in a position to win this game all night. We got out-coached in the second half plain and simple. This is a pattern, not a freak, one-time occurrence.
I mean, if OSU hadn't bumbled into a first down on that last TD drive, it was a W for ISU. I think we played well on both sides of the ball for the entire game. *shrugs*
Waiting to hear on the facts from the whiners. I mean, no way they could blame the dirt passes or poor tackling. It was ONLY coaching, right?

OK. Offensive staff earned a lot of criticism for that crucial drive (the one where we had timeouts).
There's absolutely no reason to do anything but criticize them for that playcalling debacle.
I didn't want a loss, but when we are consistently out coached after the break you have to question the staff. Twrrible 2nd half. Of course that is all i saw so maybe gire me also. Paul and i can go drink a beer.
You people are effing crazy. If this was against K State I would totally agree, but it wasnt. It was against an undefeated #5 team in the nation. Am I angry we lost? yes. Am I angry at the last drive's play calling? yes.
But we were also one overturned TD call away from possibly winning the game and everybody cheering about Rhoads. You people overreact about everything. We were one play away from winning and everybody would have been so happy.
Some say the players did everything they needed to win and the coaches are to blame? The defense allowed how many 3rd and long conversions? Lanning missed at least 7 or 8 wide open receivers. I love lanning but you can't put all the blame on the coaches. Lets wait and see how the next two weeks go first.

This is exactly right. Also, please don't quote ISUFan22, it ruins the purpose of my Ignore List. I would recommend the same to everyone also.
How many passes did Lanning complete in the second half? How many wide open guys were missed? Including first down on the 2nd to last possession.
Facts are players had a shot to win and didn't execute. OSU adjusted to take away run. ISU had guys open and didn't execute.
What does it matter where they are ranked?...nimrod...better play calling could have run a lot more clock. Putting Thomas in alongside Warren in the backfield in the third or the fourth down would have given the D something else to think about. Why go completely away from what worked in the first half...mix and match...
Using their ranking to say it's ok that we lost is moronic.
