Oscar Predictions for Tonight...

It’s weird I don’t see any patches of hair missing on her. Alopecia generally they are missing patches of hair. She shaved it but the little growth she has don’t show patches unless I’m missing something.

It's a condition thst can lead to total baldness/hairlessness all over.

The other thing that Will Smith's PR camp better be doing is thinking ahead. You have to have a crisis plan with tons of POSSIBLE outcomes ready even if nothing materializes. But my first thought was 'sh!t...Smith needs to clean this up and fast. Because there ARE people that see what happened and because of it will result in a comedian getting beat up or worse. In a way he green lit it being 'ok' for this to happen especially not apologizing to Rock in his speech or saying he shouldn't have hit him.

I have a medical condition and if someone poked fun at me about it, I’d laugh at myself along with everyone else, but I understand that not everyone is that way.

And I really don’t understand why comedians feel the need to go there to be funny either? You can be funny without doing that.

People in here acting like Chris Rock invented bald jokes on March 27, 2022.

Comedians make jokes about things, sometimes those things people don't have control over, they make jokes about people dying, people being fat, skinny, tall, short, black, white, male, female, and sometimes even bald.

So if someone has R.A. or a host of other dabiliating diseases/conditions they're too sensitive if someone makes fun of them for it?
Just based on how over sensitive I think most people are I'd say yes, but I'd have to know the context. This was an innocuous joke about someone being bald and starring in a movie where the hero was a bald woman that kicked ass.

I am in PR. And immediately I turned to my better half and said 'His PR team is shitting their collective pants and they're scrambling to divvy up who's on damage control, who's on key messaging and who's on apologies.'

Oooh, oooh, oooh! Can I do the apologies?

Some of them just want that "oh wow he went there" shock factor.

I'm more of a fan of the guys who have the timing/delivery down.

So you think it's ok to make fun of people with disabilities caused by conditions if their livelihood is ruined.

Quite a perspective there.

Whatever works for them as a couple. Will also has fun outside the house.

I think Will Smith is f'd in the head because of all this. I was looking into it as this all fascinates me now, and it seems like the 'open relationship' was pretty one sided. She's out banging dudes, included a friend of her son. From what I found all he's said is he has a crush on Halle Berry and doesn't feel bad saying that being married.

In general I don't have a problem with comedians making jokes, even if I don't find them funny. This joke wasn't particularly funny, and it wasn't that outlandish to be honest. Smith was probably drunk and he seems like someone who is very full of themselves and can't take a joke.

If Smith didn't do what he did this joke would have been very forgettable, I wasn't watching and I guarantee I wouldn't have heard about it. Now everyone in the world is talking about Jada being bald whether they were watching the Oscars or not, good move.

I’m sure Will Smith does just fine, he’s a beautiful, rich, famous guy in a very public open marriage.

I doubt the guy who has been one of the most famous people in the world for decades is really wringing his hands over being “more visible”
