Open Positions on FB Staff?

Do you know if he is in Ames or somewhere else? He is not at Jefferson due to a leave of absence. Wondering if he ended up taking a job somewhere else as per the stories going around that he is not at Iowa State and won't be?

No idea. I haven't kept that close of contact with him.

He's a volunteer coach for ISU.

If Womochil is anything more than a volunteer then he has compromising pictures of CPR. I'm a Jeff grad with sources within/around the program. He's not worthy of a paycheck at ISU.

Now I have heard that Womochil is not going to be at Iowa State...strange story and probably not very important in regards to Iowa State football. Wonder if he found a position somewhere else? Anyone know this guy?

this guy should not be involved in ISU football in anyway shape or form. past history it was all his assistants that made him successful at Williamsburg.

Man, was that his ex-wife or what.

is he even that? i heard he will just be there for the winter and spring and then he is going back to his hs job as a teacher and assistant coach from where he just left.

That is the story around CR that I have heard...sounds strange that a guy quits his head coaching position, takes a leave of absence to in his words "take a coaching opportunity at ISU or Notre Dame" (his words according to his most recent staff)...and is guaranteed a position as an assistant coach back at Jefferson in the fall. Why would a new head coach want Womochil on his staff at Jefferson?

Anyway...that is a topic for another time I guess...word is that Marv Cook was at Jefferson yesterday with the administration trying to talk him into taking the HC job at that school. Good luck with that!

Geeeezz..... Somebody has a grudge against him. Don't know him, but not too concerned about temporary volunteer coaches.

Volunteering to do what? What is he even qualified to do. He was a 2A coach in HS and has proven that he is no way a 4A coach. The game just moved to fast for him at that level.

Sorry, but your 4a comment made me laugh a little. I know good 4a teams have more talent than smaller schools but that certainly doesn't mean they are better coached. I have watched too many good 1a teams beat the crap out of big schools. St Albert does it every year.

And then some of those schools that lost (big schools) go on to have winning records. Its hard to imagine how big school football can be that weak in the middle and bottom.

What level is St Albert? Just asking...not making a point? Big schools in eastern Iowa only play big schools...

St. Albert is a very good 1a private school that regularly kicks the crap out of bigger schools in the area like Lewis Central (4a size school playing 3a). That's just one example.

Non district game of course. My point is that big school football in the middle and bottom is not very good at all from what I have seen. At the top of course is a different story.

not a grudge but I am just unsure why he is there. If his main guy was BE and now he is at ND. why woudl womo still be going/helping out there?

Thats what womo said when he came to Jeff. That there was no difference between 2A and 4A. I think his records speak otherwise now.

There is your key "private" school. Pay the tuition and get all the best athletes regardless of class size. That is all over the country.
